The Signal -- Weird movie but has its moments
With internet we got exposure towards movies which are not released in india and such are ways i happen to see these weird movies.
Well there happens to be this genre of movies which are solely build on suspense !! There isnt much of a story nor big actors.
They start off with brief intro towards the characters,by showing their day to day life. This happens to be crucial to understand the kind of the character it is. Past that there is some unexpected twist,which changes their fates forever.
In few movies these fates are often twisted and categorizes the characters into the respective groups, protagonist and antagonist. or just protagonist. While the antagonist comes from alien world or some random third party guy. Now that this is established, the narration takes us through the journey of these characters and with just the right quantity of suspense to keep us hooked.
While these movies ends with defeat or death of antagonist or defeat of protagonist group while a thrill of presence of alien world leaves us spellbound. While signal happens to be such movie. Three college goers on a road trip, happens to receive messages from hacker called nomad. They trace back his signal and follow to his place to find out who that person is.
But now things are going to take a different turn, and turn happens to be a alien abduction of these three people. We trace through feelings of one character while each scene reveals certain details and keeps the suspense floating.
Finally its revealed that these aliens abduct people from earth and perform symbiotic operations infusing alien technology into the human body, thus our protagonist gains some insane powers to run at supersonic speeds..
