The Heist -- Janet Evanovich

Having finished this novel recently, i have mixed feelings about it.
Initially i liked the way the story was narrated, and storyline established.

A RobinHood kind of theif, except that he wont give away to the poor, but nevers robs from this. He happens to the most charming, skilled , what not you expect from a regular lead actor from those action movies.

A FBI agent, who happens to be seal trained and keen on catching the above said guy. She succeeds in capturing him and later fate of luck brings them in to a situation where they work together to catch big fish who escaped the long american hands.

The story goes around few continents, few action sequences and finally ends up with what needs to be done, that is capturing the big fish.

Whats interesting is the part, where a con is in play to capture that guy who happens to be in indonesia enjoying the time of his life after stealing half a billion dollars. The con happens to have supporting character, in a typical mission impossible style, where each help tom cruise get the mission done, except that there are mr and mrs tom cruise here.

Its a good book if you have not watched all those action movies with missions, cons.heist. But if are already into it, this offers nothing new. expect the characters which are i guess continued into a series, with more big fishes into the FBI nets.
